A reel from your images.

SocialStudio ai turns your images and short lines into a silent 9:16 portrait video for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

The card lines

A reel is made of cards: each shows an image and a line of text and stays on screen for three seconds. You write the lines in the field “Card lines — one per line”, one line per card. The first is the hook, the last the close.

You need at least two and at most ten lines, each with at most 80 characters. Short lines read best while scrolling past; that is why Kenji suggests short lines without hashtags or emojis.

“Lines from Kenji” writes up to five lines from your post for you. They then sit in the field, and you change, delete or add to them before you create the reel. That uses AI credit; your own lines don’t.

Ana opens “Reel — your short video” and clicks “Lines from Kenji” — Kenji writes five lines from the autumn menu into the field; Ana replaces the last one with “See you soon at Café Lumen!”.
  1. Open the “Reel — your short video” area.
  2. Write the lines in the field or click “Lines from Kenji”.
  3. Read the lines and adjust them.

“Lines from Kenji” reads the last saved text of your post. Save a change first.

Four styles

Under “Style” you choose “Light”, “Dark”, “Cinema” or “Warm”. The style sets the surface behind images that don’t quite fit the portrait format, the text colour, and the semi-transparent strip behind the text that keeps it readable on any photo.

“Cinema” and “Warm” slowly zoom into the image; “Light” and “Dark” show calm still images. Your images are fitted, not cropped: a landscape photo appears in full in the video, with the style’s surface above and below it.

All four are deliberately neutral — no KENJTEC mark and no KENJTEC colours. It is your video.

The four style buttons “Light”, “Dark”, “Cinema” and “Warm” in the “Reel — your short video” area, with “Warm” selected.

Creating the reel

“Create reel” turns your images and lines into a silent portrait video, 9:16 at 1080×1920 pixels — the format Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook accept. With two to ten lines it runs for six to thirty seconds.

If there are fewer images than lines, the images come round again in order; that way even a post with one image can carry a reel. Creating takes a few seconds, and the button shows “Rendering …” meanwhile. No AI is at work here; it costs no AI credit. Your post is saved first.

The finished video appears below, ready to play. A new reel replaces the old one — there is one per post.

Ana chooses “Dunkel” and clicks “Create reel” — after a few seconds the video appears below: pastel de nata and orange cake, each with a line of text in the lower third.
  1. Choose a style.
  2. Check the card lines.
  3. Click “Create reel”. The video appears below.

If creating fails, you get a message. If it keeps failing, take an image out of the post and try again.

Downloading or passing on the reel

Below the video there are “Download” and “Share”. On a computer you download the video and upload it in the network’s app or site — no network accepts a video via a link.

On a phone, “Share” passes the video straight to an app through your phone’s share menu. If your browser can’t share files, it says “Your browser can't share files — use Download.”

The reel isn’t posted automatically either. In the posting pack you include it as Reel.mp4 — also unzipped in your BusinessCloud, from where you pass it on from your phone —, and in the preview it plays under “Reel”. For TikTok and YouTube it is the video their version belongs to.

Below the autumn menu reel there are “Download” and “Share”; on her computer Ana clicks “Share”, and “Your browser can't share files — use Download.” appears.
