Terms of Service
The German version of these texts is the legally binding one.
Last updated: 15.10.2026
1. Scope and contracting parties
These terms apply to all contracts between KENJTEC UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in formation (see legal notice) and you regarding the products of the kenjtec.com platform — in particular websites (WebSiteBuilder), WordPress hosting, forms (FormBuilder), domains and the cloud products. Mailboxes (BusinessMail) cannot currently be ordered.
2. Conclusion of contract
The contract is concluded when you complete an order and we accept it by providing the service. For an account, you add a credit or debit card; nothing is charged in the process. An account without a booked plan does not establish any claim to particular services or quotas. For technical reasons, a website created with the WebSiteBuilder holds up to 40 subpages.
3. Prices and renewal
- Renewing a plan costs the same as the first year. There are no teaser prices that increase later. Domains renew at their own price (see below).
- With annual payment, you pay 10 monthly prices for 12 months.
- Domains cost what is shown before you order: our registrar's current price for the extension, converted into euros, plus a surcharge for exchange rates and payment fees. Renewing a domain costs what the extension costs when we invoice the renewal (30 days before expiry) — by the same rule, from the registrar's renewal price; it can differ from the first-year price. We tell you the amount before every renewal: with the invoice 30 days before expiry or, with automatic renewal, seven days before the charge.
- Renewing domains: A domain is registered for the period paid for. If you turned on “Renew automatically” when ordering or in DomainStudio, we charge the one-year renewal to your saved card 30 days before expiry at the renewal price applicable at that time; we tell you the date and amount by email at least seven days in advance. You can turn automatic renewal off in DomainStudio at any time. If it is off or the charge fails, you receive an invoice 30 days before expiry, which you pay yourself by the expiry date — without payment, the domain is not renewed.
- Price changes to plans only apply to new orders. A plan you have booked always renews at the price at which you booked it — we do not raise it.
4. Term and cancellation
Contracts run monthly or annually, as chosen, and renew for the selected term unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the term — by three routes, all equally valid: the [Cancel contracts here](/cancel) button in the footer of every page, your dashboard under Payment, or informally by email to legal@kenjtec.com. The right to extraordinary termination remains unaffected.
We confirm your cancellation immediately on the page and without delay by email — with a case number, the time your declaration was made and the day your contract ends. Until then everything keeps working as usual; after that nothing is charged again.
5. Your obligations as a customer
- You do not provide illegal content through KENJTEC, do not infringe third-party rights, and comply with our content policy; it forms part of these terms.
- You are responsible for commercial websites you operate through KENJTEC — including your own legal notice (Section 5 DDG) and your own privacy information.
- You keep your credentials secret and notify us immediately of any suspected misuse of your account.
- Sending spam or bulk mail through KENJTEC mailboxes is prohibited.
6. Blocking of illegal content
We may block content or sites immediately and without prior notice if there are concrete indications that they are illegal, infringe third-party rights, or endanger the security of the platform (such as a hijacked site serving malware or phishing). We will inform you of the block and its reasons without delay, with a statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA); you can object informally. If the block turns out to be unfounded, we will lift it immediately.
7. Indemnification
You indemnify us against all third-party claims based on the content you provide through KENJTEC or your use of the services — including the reasonable costs of legal defence. This does not apply to the extent that you are not responsible for the infringement.
8. Availability and data backup
We operate the platform with the care of a diligent provider on Google Cloud and Cloudflare infrastructure; occasional interruptions (maintenance, upstream provider outages) cannot be ruled out. We back up the systems regularly; independently of this, you remain responsible for your own copies of your content unless a product promises restore points.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. For third-party content provided by customers through KENJTEC, the liability rules of Art. 4–10 DSA apply.
10. Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal — the instructions and the model form can be found on the withdrawal page.
11. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their state of residence remain unaffected. The contract language is German; the German version of these terms is binding. Should any provision be invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
