The beginning

The first three steps.

Create folders

The “New” button at the top left creates folders and uploads files. Name them the way they’re sorted in your head.

Share without attachments

Three dots next to the file, “Details”: the sidebar opens on the “Sharing” tab. Under “External shares”, the plus next to “Create public link” creates the link — the recipient doesn’t need an account. You set a password and an expiry date on the link under “Advanced settings”.

In the browser, nothing to install

You open your office in the browser and sign in with your KENJTEC account — without a second password. There’s nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions.

I deleted something — is it gone?

Not straight away. Deleted items wait on the left under “Deleted files”, and older versions of changed files are kept: “Details” on the file, “Versions” tab.

How much space do I have?

At the bottom left of “Files” you can see how much storage you’re using. The pricing page shows how much comes with your plan; in a company, each person gets their share of it.

Can colleagues see the same folders?

Yes, with their own KENJTEC account. You invite them in the dashboard under “Company and team”; seats and storage come with your plan, and one of the seats is yours. BusinessCloud then has a shared folder with your company’s name — whatever anyone puts in it, everyone in the company sees. Outside the company, you share files by link; whoever gets it doesn’t need an account.

Can I edit documents in the browser?

Yes. Use “New” to create a document, a spreadsheet or a presentation and edit it right in BusinessCloud; it’s saved in your files.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Until the end of the term you keep working and download whatever you want to take with you — “Download” is in the three dots of every file and folder. After that, your BusinessCloud account is put on hold. Nothing is deleted; with a new plan, everything is back.

Where is my data stored?

In a data centre in Belgium, so within the EU. The details are in the privacy policy.
