Cancel contracts
The German version of these texts is the legally binding one.
This is where you cancel your contract with KENJTEC — no sign-in, no phone call, no reason required. All you need is the e-mail address your account runs on.
Your cancellation counts as declared the moment you click Cancel now below. You get a case number on this page straight away and a confirmation by e-mail without delay — stating when you declared it and the day your contract ends.
If you are signed in it takes one click: Dashboard → Payment. There is a cancel button on every running contract.
What happens after you click
- Everything keeps running until the end of the term. You paid for it — we do not take anything away early. After that nothing is charged again.
- Your account and your data stay. When the contract ends, your published websites, forms and shops go offline, and whatever needs a plan only opens again with a plan — nothing is deleted. You can still sign in; if you book a plan again, everything is back. A domain you bought from us stays registered in your name and in your account. If you want to delete your account entirely, you can arrange that separately at any time; it is then deleted no earlier than 30 days after you asked for it and the term has ended. Download what you want to keep beforehand: websites, form responses, shops and invoices have a button for it in the corresponding tool, files you download in BusinessCloud and MediaStudio (there one file at a time), and WordPress you export in its own admin area. Only invoice records and the proof of your cancellation remain, for as long as the law requires.
- Did someone else enter your address? The confirmation goes to your account's mailbox. Just reply to it and we will reverse the cancellation, leaving your contract running without interruption.
This page fulfils the cancellation-button requirement under § 312k of the German Civil Code. You may also cancel informally by e-mail to legal@kenjtec.com at any time — that is just as valid.
