AI chat and translation.

Kenji, KENJTEC’s AI, in BusinessCloud ai too: ask questions in a chat, summarise and translate texts — using the same AI credit as in every tool.

Opening the AI

Kenji, the KENJTEC AI, is at your side in BusinessCloud too — with its own button at the top right of the header that carries Kenji’s sign, a simple K. You find it in every area, whether you are in your files, the calendar or your contacts.

In the AI’s window you choose at the top what you want to do: “Chat with AI” for a conversation, “Translate” for a translation, or an item under “Work with text” when an existing text should be worked on. The answer may take a moment.

  1. Click Kenji’s sign at the top right.
  2. Choose “Chat with AI”, “Translate” or an item under “Work with text”.
  3. Write your request and send it.

Asking in a chat

“Chat with AI” is a conversation: you ask, the AI answers, you ask more. Your earlier conversations stay in a list; “New conversation” starts a fresh one.

It helps with drafts and wording: a friendly reply to a booking request, three names for a new roast, an advert for a part-time helper. You take an answer with “Copy message” and paste it wherever you need it.

The answer does not come instantly: BusinessCloud works through questions to the AI in the background, which can take a few minutes. You can keep working in the meantime and come back to the conversation later.

Ana asks Kenji for a friendly reply to a request for a birthday party at the café, reads the answer and copies it with “Copy message”.
  1. Open Kenji and choose “Chat with AI”.
  2. Click “New conversation”.
  3. Type your question, for example “Write a short, friendly reply to a request for a birthday party on Saturday”, and send it.

The AI can be wrong. Check every answer before you pass it on — especially figures, dates and names.

Summarising and translating texts

Under “Work with text” you put in an existing text and choose what should happen to it — summarising it, for example. Translating has its own item next to it, “Translate”, where you choose the “Target language”. The result appears below; “Copy” takes it with you.

In BusinessCloud the AI works with text. It can’t create images, transcribe recordings or read text aloud here.

Ana has the description of the autumn menu translated into English and takes the result with “Copy”.
  1. Open Kenji and choose “Translate”.
  2. Paste the text, for example the description of the seasonal menu, and choose the language under “Target language”.
  3. Send the request and take the result with “Copy”.

What the AI uses

Every request to the AI uses AI credit — the same credit as in every KENJTEC tool, visible in your AI bar on kenjtec.com. Everything else in BusinessCloud — files, calendar, contacts, tasks, Office — uses no AI credit.

When your AI bar is empty, the AI doesn’t answer until the bar refills by itself; an AI pack makes it last longer. BusinessCloud itself carries on working without the AI. There is nothing to set up: BusinessCloud links the AI to your account when you sign in.

More about the AI bar and AI packs is under Account & billing.
