Your name
In the dashboard, “Settings” contains “Account”. First comes “Name”: this is how we address you, in the navigation bar and in the dashboard, and how Kenji, KENJTEC’s AI, calls you in the chat window. Without a name, the dashboard uses the part of your email address before the @.
The name doesn’t change your address on kenjtec.ai — that has a name of its own, which you change in DomainStudio: Your address.
- In the dashboard, open “Account” under “Settings”.
- Enter your first and last name under “Name”.
- Click “Save” — “Saved” appears next to it.
Your sign-in email address
Below it is your “Sign-in email address”: the email address you sign in with and to which a new password is sent.
With “Change address” you move your account to another address. You enter the new address and your current password, and we send a link to the new address. Nothing changes on your account until you click “Switch address now” on the page behind that link. The link is valid for 24 hours.
After that, all sessions have ended, including in BusinessCloud, and you sign in with the new address and your current password. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, that only works afterwards with an account there that uses the new address.
Your previous address gets a message with the way back. If you didn’t change the address yourself, you can undo the change with it for seven days and then set a new password via “Forgot password?”.

- In the dashboard, open “Account” under “Settings” and click “Change address” under “Sign-in email address”.
- Enter the new address and your current password and click “Send link”.
- Open the email sent to the new address and click the link. On the page behind it, click “Switch address now”.
- Sign in with the new address.
You only sign in with Google or GitHub and don’t know a password? First set one via “Forgot password?” in the sign-in window; the link for it goes to your current address.
Changing your password
In the same place you change your “Password”. You need your current one as proof — otherwise someone at a computer left unattended for a moment could lock you out of your own account. The new one needs at least eight characters.
With the new password, every other session of your account ends: in other browsers, on other devices and in BusinessCloud. Your own session carries on; you don’t have to sign in again.
If you no longer know your current password, use “Forgot password?” in the sign-in window — here’s how.
- In the dashboard, open “Account” under “Settings”.
- In the “Password” section, enter your current password and, below it, the new one twice.
- Click “Change password” — “Saved” appears next to it.
Language and currency
Under “Language and currency” you choose which of the twelve languages KENJTEC uses with you. Once you save, the interface switches to the new language straight away.
The currency is your preference for how prices are shown. KENJTEC always bills in euros; wherever the checkout shows an amount in your currency, it says “Billing is in euros.” next to it.
Language and currency are two settings on purpose: someone who reads in German may still prefer to see prices in Swiss francs.
- Open “Language and currency” in the dashboard.
- Click your language and choose your currency in the “Currency” field.
- Click “Save”.
Signing out — everywhere at once
You find “Sign out” in the dashboard at the bottom next to your name (on a phone at the very bottom of the page), in the bar on the card behind your profile, and in the “Menu”.
Signing out ends your sign-in everywhere: on kenjtec.com, in every tool, in other browsers and on other devices, and in BusinessCloud. A tab that is still open notices as soon as you use it again.
- In the dashboard, click the “Sign out” icon next to your name at the bottom left.
- You land on the home page; “Sign in” and “Create account” are back at the top.
On a shared computer one click is enough: afterwards no page opens your account any more, not even an old tab.
