What’s on offer: the pricing page
The “Pricing” page in the bar shows everyone, even without an account, KENJTEC’s plans: what each includes, with the switch between monthly and yearly payment, plus the AI packs and what is always bought separately — domains and email.
You can’t book there. Booking happens while signed in, in the dashboard under “Choose a plan”. If you don’t have an account yet, create one from the pricing page with “Create account”.

Booking a plan
In the dashboard, open “Choose a plan” under “Settings” — or “Pricing & plans” on the card behind your profile in the bar. There you see the plans, each with its price, what it includes and a “Choose plan” button.
Under “Billing” you pick “Monthly” or “Yearly”; paying yearly, you pay for ten months and use twelve. Prices are shown excluding VAT. Domains and mailboxes aren’t part of a plan — you buy them separately.
“Choose plan” puts the plan in your cart: the card shows “In your cart”, the cart opens at the bottom right, and the cart icon at the top of the bar counts along. If you then choose a different plan, it replaces the one in the cart. “Go to checkout” takes you on. After buying, the plan appears under “Payment” in “Your plans”.
- Open “Choose a plan” in the dashboard.
- Under “Billing”, pick “Monthly” or “Yearly”.
- Click “Choose plan” on the plan that fits.
- Click “Go to checkout”.
An account has one plan. To book a different one, first cancel the current plan under “Payment”.
The checkout
On the left comes “Your account” first; when you’re signed in, it tells you that your plan is unlocked right after payment. Below it is the “Billing address”, as an “Individual” or a “Company”. These details appear on your invoice and go to our payment provider.
On the right is “Your order” with the plan from your cart; “✕” takes it out again. You can still switch between “Monthly” and “Yearly” there. If your currency isn’t the euro, an approximate amount in your currency appears next to it, with the note “Billing is in euros.” The “Tax” line says whether tax is added to the price; once the payment is prepared, “Total” shows exactly the amount the card field will charge.
“Continue to payment” opens the card field on the same page. Payment is by card; you never leave kenjtec.com, and your card number goes encrypted to the payment provider — KENJTEC never sees it; we only keep the brand, the last four digits and the expiry date. We check the card you pay with just as we did when you set up your account: prepaid cards and cards already linked to too many accounts are not accepted — the payment is then refunded and nothing is unlocked. Below the card field it says what will be charged now and when next.
Your plan is unlocked only once the payment provider has confirmed the payment. Then “Paid.” appears and the checkout takes you to your dashboard. If domains are still waiting in your cart, “Continue with the domains” takes you to them instead — a domain needs a running plan, so the plan comes first.
- Under “Billing address”, enter your name or company, street, postal code, city and country.
- Check the plan and billing on the right.
- Click “Continue to payment”.
- Enter your card in the card field and click “Pay now”.
“Continue to payment” stays greyed out while the billing address is incomplete; a line below it says what is missing.
What you’ve booked
Under “Payment”, “Your plans” lists every contract on your account with its price, billing and status: “running”, “reserved” — an order that hasn’t been paid yet —, “Payment outstanding”, “canceled” or “ended”. A cancelled contract that is still running shows “cancelled, runs until” and the date; “ended” appears once its term is over.
“Payment outstanding” means the renewal didn’t go through, usually because of an expired card, and the plan is paused until it’s paid. You fix that with “Change card” just below, see Card and invoices.
If you don’t have a plan yet, it says that you can already build drafts and go online with a plan, with a “Choose a plan” button below.

Card and invoices
Your card is held by the payment provider, not by KENJTEC; your plan renews with it. You change it under “Your card”: “Change card” opens the same card field as at checkout, and with “Save card” the new card applies to all your running plans, AI pack included. Nothing is charged when you do this.
If a payment is outstanding, we try it again right away with the new card. If it goes through, your plan runs again straight away; if it doesn’t, it says so, and you try another card.
Under “Invoices” you find the invoices for your plans, AI packs and domains: number, date, status and amount, each as a PDF. A domain invoice also shows the domain’s name. If the money went back, for instance because the registry declined a domain, it says “refunded”, with the credit note next to it as a PDF of its own. A checkout you abandoned leaves no entry here.
Below that is the “Payment account for your shop”. That’s the other direction: not how you pay KENJTEC, but where the money from your shop goes. More on this in the ShopBuilder chapter.
- In the dashboard, open “Payment” under “Settings” and click “Change card” under “Your card”.
- Enter the new card in the card field and click “Save card”. If your bank asks for a confirmation, it appears as a window over the page.
- Below it you see what happened: “Your new card now applies to your plans.” and, if a payment was outstanding, whether it went through.
