Switching between tools.

The menu at the top of every page: all KENJTEC tools in three groups, the “Menu” button on phones, your profile and the way out of BusinessCloud.

The tools menu

On a computer, “Tools” sits in the bar at the top. Move the mouse over it and the menu opens; a click keeps it open, and Escape or a click elsewhere closes it. With the keyboard, open it with Enter and move through the tools with Tab.

The tools come in three groups: “AI builder” with WebSiteBuilder, ShopBuilder, WordPressBuilder and FormBuilder; “Studios” with DomainStudio, BrandStudio, PrintStudio, SocialStudio and MediaStudio; “Working together” with BusinessCloud and BusinessMail. Each name has a short sentence under it.

On the right, a card explains the tool under your mouse or with the focus, and offers the next step: “Open”, “Add on” or “Learn more”. The tool you are in right now is marked “Current tool”.

The kenjtec.com home page, signed in as Café Lumen: mouse onto “Tools”, the menu opens; move over “MediaStudio”, its card appears on the right; click “Open” — MediaStudio opens.
  1. Move the mouse onto “Tools” at the top, or click it.
  2. Move over a tool — its card appears on the right.
  3. Click the tool, or “Open” on the card.

Pages, help and documentation

Next to “Tools”, the bar holds KENJTEC’s pages: “Solutions”, “Pricing”, “About KENJTEC” and “Docs” — this documentation. The page you are on is highlighted. On narrower screens you find the pages in the “Menu”.

When you are signed in and inside a tool — your WordPress installations or the FormBuilder, for example — only “Tools” and “Docs” remain there: you don’t need the marketing pages while you work. The logo always takes you to the KENJTEC website.

When you are signed in, you reach “Help” through your profile; when you are signed out, it is in the “Menu”. Signed in, “Dashboard” and your profile sit on the right of the bar. The cart always sits on the right as well; if something is in it, a number shows how many items are waiting. A click takes you to the checkout.

Your profile and signing out

On the right of the bar is a circle with your initials and your first name. A click opens a card with your name and email address and the links “Account”, “Payment”, “Pricing & plans”, “Language and currency” and “Help”. Below them, set apart, is “Sign out”.

“Pricing & plans” takes you to “Choose a plan” in your dashboard — that is where you buy. The “Pricing” page in the bar shows what is on offer.

When you are signed out, the same place shows “Sign in” and “Create account”.

  1. Click the circle with your initials at the top right.
  2. Choose a link — or “Sign out” at the very bottom.

From BusinessCloud to the other tools

BusinessCloud has an interface of its own. Its top bar contains “Tools”: a click opens the same tool selection there as in the menu on kenjtec.com — the same groups, the same labels and the card that explains a tool when you point at it; at the bottom, “Dashboard” takes you to your dashboard. Whatever you choose opens in a new tab — your files and open documents stay in the old one.
