How to get email on your domain

An address such as hello@deine-firma.com needs two things: a mailbox with a mail provider, and the right records in your domain so that mail arrives there. You set up the mailbox with your provider — Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, iCloud Mail or Zoho Mail. DomainStudio ai sets the records for you in one click.

What you need is a domain you manage in DomainStudio ai — bought or brought along (Bringing a domain). How to choose the provider, what happens to existing records and how to remove them again is described under Setting up email.

  1. Set up the mailbox for your domain with your mail provider and note the verification string it gives you.
  2. In DomainStudio ai, open your domain’s settings and the “Email” tab.
  3. Choose your provider under “Choose provider”, enter the verification string and click “Set records”.

BusinessMail ai

You can’t currently order mailboxes directly from KENJTEC. The BusinessMail ai page says so explicitly and leads to the domain search with “Find a suitable domain”. On a domain’s “Email” tab, the BusinessMail ai card sits next to the providers; it can’t be chosen, and “Learn more” leads to that page.

In the dashboard, “Projects” has the type “Mailboxes”. If you choose it, it says “Not available yet” — there is deliberately no empty list with a button to create one.
